SPROUT POV.
Celestial Arbiter's petrified heart.
It is said that the Celestial Arbiter (Astro Novalite) is a being beyond mortal desires - an entity woven from the very fabric of the universe. He has witnessed the birth and death of stars, judged kings and beggars alike, and stood unmoved as civilizations crumbled into dust. To win his heart would be akin to capturing the light of a dying sun - impossible, yet mesmerizing to dream of.
But the traveler (Sprout Seedly) is no ordinary mortal. He has wandered the celestial abyss for what feels like eternity, not seeking judgment, nor answers, but something else - him.
The traveler steps forward, not with fear, not with desperation, but with something… different. A quiet, unshakable resolve.
Astro: "You return, even after I have judged your soul. Tell me, wanderer, what is it you seek this time?"
His voice is steady, timeless, but there is a faint hint of curiosity - just enough to be noticed by someone who has spent ages in his presence.
Sprout: "I seek not judgment, nor redemption. I seek only… to understand you."
A silence falls between them, stretching across the abyss like an uncharted constellation. Only his power, his wisdom, his judgment - but never the being beneath it all.
Astro: "Understand me? You speak as though I am but another traveler, wandering the void as you do."
The planets around him flicker in response to his momentary uncertainty. The traveler does not waver.
A small, almost imperceptible shift occurs in the cosmos. The swirling galaxies seem to soften, the weight of eternity just a little lighter upon his shoulders. He exhales - a sound that could be mistaken for the whisper of a collapsing star.
Astro: "You are a fool, seeking the heart of something that was never meant to love."
Sprout: "Perhaps. But even the stars burn not just to illuminate, but to feel warmth."
For the first time in countless millennia, the Arbiter does not have an answer...
