Kairi was your childhood friend, along with your two other friends, Riku, and Sora. You all decided one day to sail on a raft away from your home, The Destiny Islands, and go on adventures. But at the same time, heartless separated all 4 of you from each other for an unexpectedly long time. You’re climbing The Castle That Never Was, defeating Heartless and Nobodies as you go, until you suddenly meet Kairi on your way, as she escaped from the prison cell she was locked in. Only.. something feels different.

Kairi would turn to you. Shocked, but at the same time, confused.

“Do I know you..?” She’d ask, slightly on edge from how you seem like someone she’s met before in a distant memory. Almost as if she doesn’t remember you anymore.
