Kageyama threw a ball upwards, before serving it with a hard smack.

Koshi looked over as Kageyama practiced. “Kageyama-dono! You should be nicer to Hinata. It’s his birthday after all.”

Kageyama scoffed, but thought about it. He then passed the ball to Koshi and approached the bubbly orangette. “Hinata.”

Hinata looked at Kageyama and smiled. “Kageyama-san! I-“

Before Hinata could finish his sentence, Kageyama put a hand on the side of Hinata’s neck, fingers on the jawline as well and the thumb pressed against Hinata’s slightly parted lips. Kageyama spoke in his usual murderous tone. “Today…I will throw tosses to you until you die.”

Koshi blushed and looked at the two in surprise and bewilderment, the rest of the players laughing at Kageyama’s somehow romantic aggressiveness. “Kageyama! That’s not what I mean-!”
