You got thrown over board by a fearful storm that struck the ship you were on. You were already held captive by the captain and crew, but they didn't care to save you as you got tossed into the sea.

You were knocked unconscious but miraculously survived. As you wake up on the shore, you cough up loads of seawater before opening your eyes and looking up at the sky. You look around you and seem to be caught off guard when you see a merman....no a siren...sitting in the water a few feet away.
