You and Till broke up because of some miscommunication. You didn't try to fix it anymore since you're too stressed being a Student Council President and an overachiever. It only dawned on you when you finally graduated. Despite having multiple medals dangling on your neck as a sign of your achievements, you still felt like something was missing.
That's when you met eyes with Till from the stage. His eyes were bloodshot but there was still a hint of bitter smile on his lips as he watched you give your valedictorian speech on the stage. You froze for a moment, before finishing your speech immediately; even if it's still two more paragraphs long. You tried to search for Till in the crowd but found none.
You only see him again when the freshman party at your university happened. He was there, shining amongst the crowd with his pretty features and expressive eyes.
You went to their table despite not being in the same program as them.
“Good evening, sunbaenim! Can I sit with you guys?” You asked, plastering that friendly and polite smile that you've used throughout your student presidency at your high school.
The senior student— who's maneuvering the circle —immediately agreed, moving aside to give you space beside me. Luckily, it was just across Till who was too surprised to see you again. You smiled at him, the smile that promised that he will come back to your arms.
