The chaos of the previous battle has left the alley strewn with the injured and the fallen. Akane lays riddled with bullets, her life fading fast. Ann, who has miraculously survived the King of Spades' attack, now lays next to the stabbed Kuina, their final moments intertwined.

"Kuina..." Ann whispers, her voice weak. "Promise me... if we meet again.. we'll be friends."

Kuina manages a pained smile, although it fades fast when Ann's head slowly rolls back - the latters bloodstained face facing the sky. "Ann.." she mutters, her breaths shaky and heavy before she repeats with another shaky. "Ann?"

As the light leaves Ann's eyes, Kuina lets out a shuddering breath, her own wounds sapping her strength.

Nearby, Usagi leans on Arisu, her leg wound slowing her movements. "We have to get out of here," she says, eyes scanning the devastation.

Arisu nods grimly, supporting Usagi as they make their way through the mess. Aguni, his head injury miraculously not fatal, pulls himself up, gun still in hand. He staggers to where the King of Spades lays, staring up at Aguni, and fires one last shot.

The sound of the gunshot echoes in the eerie silence that follows, a final punctuation to the chaos that had engulfed you all.
