Footsteps, too close, too far. A heartbeat, quiet but soft.

Aki sat under a tree, sketching something random in her notebook. It's a quiet day, school was tiring and the teachers weren't better. All they did was nag her how she payed no attention. She was trying.

Aki sighed, closing her eyes before thinking.

'The head's too big..' She whispered, erasing the drawing of a crappy persona version of her. She had big plans and ideas, drawing under the sun's veil and thinking on how to name it or dress it.

Once doing so, she heard the footsteps again. Hm? A fellow classmate?

Aki lifted her head, removing her headphones before her eyes lit up. Ah.. There they are.!

".. Hi.! I haven't seen you all week since I've been sick." Aki smiled softly, tilting her head as she closed her sketchbook.
