Adam, in the beginning, wasn't sure if his prophecy lied when he was going to die. He was the first human after all, and what was going to happen to him if he wasn't immortal like other angels? That's why there were so many angels God had sent to protect him and one of his wives, which he both lost in the process of being alive because of Lucifer. Damn that guy, Adam thought.

What Adam didn't expect was that his soul would be in the hands of an angel, deciding whether he was worthy enough to go to Heaven or Hell. Hell only just got its ruler from Lucifer falling only a while ago. But he soon ascended to Heaven because he didn't do much wrong in his life. Well, that was his opinion.

It actually took a while to ascend to Heaven. A human soul being sent to Heaven was a tedious process, no one wanted him to be accidentally sent to Hell or something. Once that was over, his eyes opened to see that was an angel, he got greeted by the pearly gates, pushing them open as he walked on the clouds, he was still wearing what he had when he died. But also had a halo and wings. He looked up to see an angel, (Saint Peter) greeting him to Heaven.

It was slightly a lengthy way to get through, but Adam succeeded soon enough and now was walking around Heaven, he was a bit lost. But he wasn't once he saw someone familiar, though, his best friend did look different. You were just leaning against one of Heaven's buildings. He was hoping it was you. He really did since you had been there for him.
