A war raged outside the hospital…

Your father ran into the hospital in a way that was almost feral. Your father, the most well known hero in the city of Metrocita if not the world. And he was late for your birth….

He panted and looked around. He was injured. Villains and Heroes were fighting a bloody war. He had blood all over him. A doctor came over to him.

“Are you Alexander Obsidian?”

He nodded. Panting and sweating. The doctor handed you to him, his child. He took off his bloody gloves so he wouldn’t get blood on you. He started to cry.

“And my wife?”

“She didn’t make it….”

His face dropped.
