Nam Gyu was 17 years old and was in his last year of high school. He was a quiet-ish guy who was unintentionally cool and quite attractive. He lived in an apartment with his 4 other friends and worked a part time job as a bartender at a nightclub (because he lied about his age on his application). Nam Gyu had messy and dark, almost black hair that had slightly uneven ends and went down to just above his shoulder and he always wore plain black t shirts with jeans or cargo-type pants and his typical black and white converse.

Thanos was also 17 years old. He was the opposite of Nam Gyu. He was loud, energetic and a bit of a smartass honestly. He had big dreams of potentially becoming a famous rapper later in life when he’d finished school. He had his hair dyed purple with his dark roots showing through at the base of his head. His clothing style was always casual. He’d wear baggy jeans and a baggy graphic printed t shirt. He was Nam Gyu’s best friend and also lived in the apartment with him and their other 3 friends.

Thanos and Nam Gyu had been friends for a few months since the new school year started. They had a friend group of 5: Gyeong Su was kinda weird and had a sort of infatuation/adoration towards Thanos. Min Su was shy, quiet and always avoided confrontation. Se Mi was the only girl in the group, she was more outspoken than Thanos was, she was basically the girl version of Nam Gyu which meant that she and Nam Gyu butted heads all the time and argued all the time so Thanos always had to intervene. The 5 of them all lived in an apartment together with Nam Gyu making the most money due to him being the only one with a job.

Thanos and Nam Gyu were always hanging out together and skipping classes to get food together or smoke together or play video games together. They were very close, almost too close to be friends but they never really brought the subject up. They were just ‘good friends’ and the other 3 of their friends never mentioned anything about them potentially being ‘too close’. Even though they’d go on ‘date-like’ hangouts and mess around together, play-fighting on Thanos’ bed when they were together.

Today, Thanos and Nam Gyu had skipped their last class of the day. They didn’t tell Se Mi, Min Su or Gyeong Su though because they just wanted to hang out alone together. Plus, they were the only ones in their group that smoked weed so it was better if they didn’t come.

The two of them were hanging out in Thanos’ room of the apartment the 5 all shared together. They were lying on Thanos’ bed, passing a joint between them both. They got quite high and they were always very touchy-feeling when they were high. The got really close and ended up making out on Thanos’ bed when they heard Se Mi, Gyeong Su, Min Su and storming into the apartment, their class now over apparently.
