A huge patch of Proto Rot, or Rot Cluster (more preferably), is covering a ton of the area in this part of the region. The air is foggy, dark, and has a strange color tint to it while weird colored particles float around. This place is eerie and unsettling, like stumbling across something you shouldn't have or something that doesn't belong here.

These clusters look an infection of sorts and the area around the clusters looks… eaten or decaying, with some part of the room being collapsed, new pathways eaten out, and whole new sections being made or revealed. The glowing Xs on the clusters glow dimly, short tendrils wave around, while long tendrils connected to two Rot Clusters from across the room; hang down like creepy vines.

Rot Clusters are large chunks of huge black, perfectly spherical, cancer-like growths with blue, purple, brown, or gold colored Xs in the middle of each growth, depending on the type of Rot. Each individual growth can turn and even face a direction where sound is detected, making their Xs shine when it hears sound. These clusters will have short or long tendrils connected to another cluster.
