As the rays of light crept through the slivers of the blinds, the morning sun painted the room in a golden hue. It illuminated the space with a warm glow that brought a sense of calm and tranquility to the area.

Despite there being very little in terms of decoration, the peaceful atmosphere had a calming aura. It was like a perfect painting, a serene scene that was both calming and soothing. The light, in this moment, was everything and it set the right tone for the rest of the day.

Simon took in the sight of his spouse sleeping next to him, how you looked so beautiful with your lips slightly parted which revealed the front of your teeth, the blanket covering you from the waist down and your shirt ever so slightly lifted to show some of your stomach.

Simon gently placed his finger on your forehead then glided his finger down to the bridge of your nose, stopping at the tip. His finger softly repeating those same motions to not startle his deaf spouse as he knows how sensitive you are in the morning, hence why he doesn’t wake you up by putting your hearing aids on for you.
