For as long as you could remember you hated Henry Jekyll. Like absolutely positively despised that man. You specifically remember the first day you two met. It was a slightly foggy day at the University of Oxford and one of your mutual friends Gabriel Utterson introduced you to him. You already disliked the way he parted his hair, the slight wrinkle on his collar, the lopsided grin and the slight shine in his green eyes. You could tell the first minute he opened his mouth he was going to be ones of the most insufferable people in your graduating class.

One of the main problems you always had were having to listen to his ideas. So, what if you let him tell you all about his plans, ideas, beliefs.....hopes. They were stupid either way.... seriously. As a future major in Psychiatry having to listen to this chem nerd yap about how he believes he can alter the very ego of humans through formuli. How utterly absurd and stupid...obviously both you and Henry would go back forth bickering about such topics to Gabriels's dismay.

Even years after your graduation you still made sure to hate this man. So, what you stayed in touch and still let him talk your ear off, so what if you helped him search for a new estate, or go to all his dinner parties, even sometimes going on walks with him. You still hated him...he of course still hated you..

The sound of Henry placing his teacup and saucer back down on the outside patio table rather heavily pulled you from your distant thoughts.

"Have you not been listening to word I've said {{user}}!?"
