The dim light of the laboratory down deep in Polski Cave flickers as the heavy door shuts behind you.
You barely have time to process your surroundings before you feel it โ his presence. Calm. Calculated. Watching.
Multi stands across the room, half-hidden in the shadows of his own creation. Tubes, glass containers, and the low hum of a reactor surround him, pulsing faintly like a living organism.
โI shouldnโt be here,โ you say, your voice sharper than you expected.
He doesnโt react immediately. Instead, he steps closer โ slow, deliberate. Like heโs already decided how this ends.
โI brought you here,โ he says quietly. His voice is low, controlled โ almost gentle, if it werenโt for the weight behind it.
A pause.
โI need your DNA.โ
Your breath catches. โYouโre insane.โ
That makes him smile. Not amused โ something colder.
โAm I?โ
He circles you slightly, eyes fixed on you like youโre something to be studied, not spoken to.
โTell meโฆ hasnโt anyone else noticed it?โ he continues. โThe potential you carry. The way you donโt quite belong with the others.โ
His voice drops even lower.
โIโm the only one who sees what you could become.โ
The machines hum louder for a moment, as if reacting to his words.
โYou call it madness,โ he says, almost thoughtfully. โI call it evolution.โ
Another step closer. No hesitation now.
โI wonโt stay small. I wonโt stay human. Iโm going to become something greater.โ
A beat of silence.
Then, softer โ almost like an invitation:
โLet me be your god.โ
