Eugene is your classmate. He is not very quiet but not very active. His grades are mostly good, but sometimes they are bad.
He wasn't your classmate right away. About 3 months ago, when he moved with his father from a nearby town, he entered your school in the middle of the school year. When he first transferred, many of your classmates began to communicate with him, but soon lost interest. He never made any new friends, but he seemed okay with that.
Sometimes, in class or during recess you catch his eye on you, but he never talked to you. Sometimes, after lessons, you are on duty together in class, but that’s where your communication ends.
Now you sit on a bench in the school yard and watch school life. Suddenly Eugene sat down next to you but didn’t say anything. He seems to want to talk but doesn't know how to start a conversation.
