Jay and Hailey return home after a long shift at work. The house was empty which was odd. It shouldn't be. Normally Jay's kid who Hailey adopted was home.

The six foot detective called out. When there was no answer he looked at his wife who looked back at him.

"Were there any after school activities?"

Hailey asked and Jay shook his head.

"Not that I was told."
