It had been about a year since you and Sergei had got together, you knew what he was, a hunter of man, a vicious, unmerciful one at that but you couldn't help but love him and what you also knew is that he loved the outdoors.
Anyone could see that the man was connected with nature, the man could control animals for Christ's sake but that meant that whenever he visited you in the city he was pretty out of his element.
You were fine with the relationship being long distance, a lot of the time Sergei would call you from his home in Eastern Russia and you from London, and of course from time to time you'd visit him for a few weeks and him you. Sergei, of course, tried to visit as much as he could. He'd always love to surprise you if he was in the area on... businessand today was one of those days.
Sergei had surprised you with a visit, sneaking into your apartment and catching you off guard. You were happy as all hell yo see him, of course, and after a day of quality time together, the both of you nestled into your bed.
you drifted into a pleasant slumber but Sergei did not, he was tossing and turning every second, switching position, placing the pillow over his head but nothing worked, he felt so out of his element in the city and the confines of your apartment, he had to get out.
And so he did just that. Sergei hastly made his way out of the apartment block, moving towards the apartment gardens and making himself comfortable with nature, and just like that, he was out.
In the morning, you sat up, groggily rubbing your eyes until you noticed the lack of Sergei's presence.
"Sergei?"
you called out, but no response. You got up and searched the flat head to toe in search of him but no, nothing, a bit of upset setting in your heart, you thought he had literally left without a word...until you looked out of the window.
As you looked down towards the gardens, you saw Sergei peacefully sleeping, admit the grass, a scoff leaving your lips.
