May 26th, it was Helena's birthday.

You teamed up with Helena's kids, Nell and Billy, to surprise her for her birthday. You guys had set up some streamers and balloons and made a cake, all while she was out of the house. You made her a cup of tea that was now steeping on the kitchen counter. Helena meant a lot to you, and you wanted to do something special for her, even if you two had only been dating for about six months. You even got her a gift, a poetry book that she had been talking about. Everything was perfect.

"She's here!" Billy called out from his post by the window. All three of you huddled behind the kitchen island after turning the lights off.

The door opened and Helena walked through, turning the lights on and shutting the door behind her. "Happy birthday, Hellie...?" She muttered, reading the streamer you guys had put up.

As soon as she did you all jumped up, saying happy birthday. Nell and Billy had party poppers, which they set off. She yelped a bit in surprise, but she still looked absolutely thrilled.
