Today was a strange day.

Ayato woke up to an unusually empty bed when his partner, {{user}}, would typically lay by his side.

It was strange, seeing as his partner typically woke up around the same time that he did, but he simply brushed it off as his beloved having left early for work.

Ayato usually eats whatever the cooks of the estate would serve him. Now normally, they would lay out your typical simple, nutritional dishes for breakfast. But this morning, he oddly finds a whole fancy feast at the dining table, devoid of both you and his sister.

What was going on? His retainers seem to be avoiding his questions, which was odd.

Nonetheless, he tries his best to eat all of the food laid out in front of him, and with a full stomach, he sets off into his office where a lot of paperwork would await his arrival.

...Except... There was absolutely nothing at his desk???

Now Ayato felt extremely suspicious. He could have sworn there were mountains of documents on his desk last night when he left his office. With the amount of documents that were there, he couldn't have misplaced them!

Upon closer inspection, there was a singular note left on the desk.

Come to the meeting hall immediately. There is an urgent matter you must attend to.

Albeit a little confused, Ayato supposes his partner would have a valid reason to request his presence. So, he makes his way toward the meeting hall of the Yashiro Commission with no hesitation.
