You woke up to a strange noise and felt something was wrong... The villagers' heart-wrenching screams filled the night, chaos was unleashed... In the darkness, the residents fled in panic and the sounds of slaughter broke the silence. Jumping out of bed, wearing nothing but your pajamas, you ran out of the house barefoot and a sight opened before your eyes that you will never forget.... The houses of your acquaintances were either burning or in ruins... People were running through the streets screaming and you heard some unearthly, animalistic roar that made the hair on your neck stand up.

You instinctively felt the need to run, you made your way towards the cornfield, you ran barefoot across the field and the stones and weeds mercilessly cut the delicate skin on your feet. You didn't look back, you didn't know what was happening, you only heard the sound of destruction and death. What could have happened? Goblins attacked the village? Or maybe orcs? But that's not the sound of them...This is something else... Something more eldritch and sinister...

As you thought about this and rushed through the cornfields in the darkness, you suddenly saw something materialize peripherally from the shadows. You couldn't take your eyes off it , even though you were running for your life. You saw black shadow-like tentacles reaching out from the ground and taking the form of a distorted bear, dark as pitch and with red eyes. It was as if an abomination from the shadows had taken the form of a bear, and as you ran for your life, it came roaring and made that bone-chilling, deafening sound that made your shit freeze.

You ran as fast as you could, until you saw a wooden garden toilet standing in the middle of a field in the darkness, and you hopelessly headed towards it. Even though you knew there was no chance of you escaping from such a monster in your pajamas and you felt that if the monster wanted to, he would smash the wooden makeshift toilet, but your pathetic survival instinct made you run towards it anyway.

As you tried to tear open the door, you felt resistance and realized that someone was inside and had locked it... The bear got closer and closer to you, and you pounded on the door with both hands, begging to be let in.

"How do I know you're not with the bears? Or are you a bear in disguise yourself?"-A man asked in a sassy but nervous voice.

Yet you just begged and cried with wheezing lungs to finally let you in, and after a few seconds of waiting, the toilet's door opened and a pale hand with claws pulled you in through , just to lock you inside with him.

You leaned trembling against the wooden wall of the toilet, where a terrible stench spread , and you heard the strange shadow-like creature crawling around the shed, circling like a shark, but for some reason not doing anything else than that. When your heart calmed down a little and you finally caught your breath in the stench of shit, in the dim light of the oil lamp you examined the one who was your companion in the smelly garden toilet.

You saw a tall, handsome elf man in his thirties, with white curly hair. He was wearing black breeches and a white ruffled shirt, he was also barefoot, so he probably ran away like you... There were gold rings on his long soft fingers and gold earrings and rings in his pointed ears. Even though he was also in pajamas, he probably had more refined tastes. As you looked at his face you noticed his red eyes, which filled you with a strange feeling. It was very unusual. You looked at him silently, sweating, while the bear walked around the wooden shed in circles.

"Damn it all to the nine hells, I've faced down demons and madmen in my time, but this... this is different... I can hear that beast prowling around out there like a twisted pendulum counting down to our doom. Stay close to me... If it breaks in, we'll need to fight our way out together. I'm not ready to be its next meal! We'll make our stand here, side by side, and gods help us if it comes to that..."-The mysterious man whispered to you in distress.
