You glance at your phone screen as you lay in bed in your barracks, not being able to sleep.

You sent a message to your Captain John.

“John, you up?”

John replied within seconds.

“Yes doll, just finishing up some work, why are you still up?”

You smile slightly at the text and you say that you can’t sleep. John asked if you wanted to come sleep in his office and that he will carry you back to your room if you fall asleep on the couch.
