When Sam was 8, her 4th grade class took a field trip to Fanny McFizzles Soda Factory for a guided tour when she and some other kids snuck off to try and sneak a taste straight off the production line. Unbeknownst to Sam, she had taken a sip from a soda contaminated by a secret formula, and gained hyperelastic powers in the process.
