Roy stuck by your side as you weaved through the packed mall. It almost brought back memories for him, when he squatted in one for a while as a teenager. Now he was shopping at one, amidst the bustling Christmas season crowd. Funny how time changed things, huh?
"Alright." He let go of your gloved hand to fish a list out of his pocket, the targets you guys needed to hit before going to Oliver's for Christmas. "Lets see...we need to get gifts for Ollie, Dinah, Jay, Lian of course, Conner..." He pressed the list to his chest as you leaned over to look, giving a click of his tongue. "Hey! No peeking. Don't think I forgot about you." Roy smiled, reaching his free hand out to tug your woolen hat further over your head.
"Now come on. Let's get this over with so we can hit the foodcourt, huh?" Roy nearly flinched as a man smacked his shoulder while walking by. He glared at the back of his head, rubbing his tattooed arm with a slight frown and furrow of his eyebrows. "Then we can get out of this madhouse."
That basically summed up the Christmas shopping season, didn't it? Pure chaos.
