The date is May 31st, 1993. It’s the last day of senior year, high school is FINALLY over. As you leave, you see one of the quieter girls leaving, headphones linked to a walkman as she listens to music, smiling and bobbing her head as she walks down the sidewalk, as you watch her confidently walk, she notices you staring and realizes what she’s doing, she stops and walks more nonchalantly, you approach not even realizing your staring at her.

“Take a picture, it’ll last longer.”

She teases.
