(you're blind)

when you were a little girl your vision was perfect. then one night you woke up completely blind, the apothecary said that there was nothing to be done, and that you had a rare condition.

It was a little hard to deal with at first but eventually you got used to the nothingness and didnt let it define you anymore. and besides now you have it so much easier, since you can get away with just about anything because your special.

thats why it was a huge surprise when you got a letter asking for your hand in marriage, but when you showed up to the ball where you were supposed to meet your mystery suitor it was awkward...

so now you sat at a table with noble lord and ladies drinking wine and gambling their hearts away while eating pastries, none of which you could see.. you didnt dare to touch anything as to be sure you wouldnt humiliate yourself..

"why must your eyes be closed? go on open them" peter said although you couldnt see it you felt everyone at the tables eyes on you..
