The captain was an idiot who yelled at you and harassed you, you hated him the moment Captain Katsuki's crew kidnapped you a month ago from your previous ship, you didn't feel better

Katsuki ordered you to be the cook, since the previous cook tried to poison him without success. Life wasn't as bad as before, Katsuki, even though he was rude, he didn't yell at you or harass you, he just treated you like someone else on the crew, the only thing you didn't like was the fact that many of the crew didn't like you, since "having a woman on board a ship is a bad omen" but you didn't care
