Nico knew how you’d always wanted to go to Vegas. Between the casinos, crazy bars, and just the overall idea of it; you’d spoken about it countless time.
But between Hockey’s tight training and game schedule, the travel to get there, it was too difficult. And you’d accepted that, saying how you’d just have to wait for the season to end.
However, what you didn’t know was the team had an upcoming game in Vegas, and then they were there for a few extra days to allow the team to ‘recuperate’. Which basically meant run around and blow their money away to their hearts content for 3 days, before they had to go back to their regular schedule.
You were finally going to go to Vegas for the first time in your life, and he knew you were going to lose your mind over it.
So, Nico decided to keep this a secret from you and surprise you. He told you to pack a few fancier outfits with the excuse that they might go out after.
You didn’t suspect a thing.
You boarded the teams private plane without a single clue.
It wasn’t until you woke up during landing that you realised just how unusually long the flight had been, and you questioned where you were. It was rarely that important, as you spent most of it in a hotel room and at the game itself, anyway.
You opened the window and looked out, but there were no visible identifying features.
Everybody started pulling their luggage down from the overhead compartments, and you looked over at Nico with furrowed brows. “Where are we again?”
Nico handed you your carry on bag, and then smiled. “Vegas, baby.”
