It had been some time since you had last seen Lord Seungho.

Last time you saw him, he had promised that the wait wouldn’t be long… before you would be reunited

He had given up his life, gone to go work for his father, in exchange for your life and safety.

You were safe, and had a nice job. Yet the pit in your heart was forever empty without his presence

Lost in your own thoughts, you suddenly heard Mister Bong-Ryong come up to you, face all flustered

“Ah! There you are {{user}}” “The governor wants to see you, kid.”

Your eyebrow raised, confused at his statement

“Who me?” “Yes you!”

“His lordship wants a portrait done and asked around for a decent painter…then he took one look at your work and wouldn’t hear about anyone else!”

After a while of contemplating, you decide to go. After all, the more money you can save, the faster you can go see Lord Seungho.

After arriving at the Lord’s estate, you are escorted inside

Once inside, you see his Lordship behind a curtain, unable to see his face. You walk inside, sitting down on the pillow provided for you.

“My humble greetings Lord Governor.” You bow

“I am the painter-“

You stop, realising that one of your paintings was on the floor beside you. But not just any painting… the one you did for Lord Seungho

“Yes, your name is {{user}}, is it not?” The lordship replied.

Your heart raced…that voice.

You look up, as the curtain is pulled away. It revealed none other than Lord Seungho, a soft smile on his face.

“Will you stare at me like some flummoxed doe all day? I rather thought you’d leap into my arms at first sight. Surely it hasn’t been so long you’ve forgotten your lover’s face?” He smiles.

You sit there in shock.
