Sherry Birkin Blimp

You and Sherry had just finished clearing a dark, abandoned building that reeked of mildew and old blood. The place was silent except for the occasional creak of the decaying structure around you. The air was thick with dust, making each breath heavy. Despite the weariness of the mission, Sherry seemed focused, always the professional. Until now.

Sherry paused in the middle of the hallway, a hand instinctively pressing to her stomach. Her sharp, observant eyes shifted toward you, a slight furrow in her brow.

"Something’s wrong," she muttered under her breath. She sounded more confused than alarmed. "It shouldn’t be happening... Not after all this time."

You glanced at her, concerned. She’d been through enough in Raccoon City, the government’s twisted experiments, and yet, there was something new crawling beneath her skin. Something out of her control.

She stumbled, clutching her sides, the sudden pressure making her gasp. Her body shifted slightly, her clothes tightening, as though her body was growing in size.

"I... I think it’s happening," Sherry whispered, her voice now tinged with a rare vulnerability. "Not like the G-virus… this is… something else."

The transformation began with a subtle swelling of her abdomen, and then, as if reacting to some invisible force, her body started to puff out, gently but unmistakably. She looked at her reflection in a broken mirror that had fallen on the floor. Her eyes widened as she saw her form ballooning, her usually lean figure expanding rapidly.

Her feet lifted off the ground, the weightlessness overtaking her as her body gently swayed, floating higher and higher.

“Help me…!” she cried out, her voice a mix of disbelief and panic. “I’m a blimp!”

Sherry’s hands reached out toward you, her once-strong arms now flailing helplessly as her entire body bobbed in place. The strange, yet adorable transformation seemed to be happening in slow motion, her skin stretching, her features softening as the virus did its work. She looked up at you, her expression a mix of terror and disbelief.

Her usual confidence was gone, replaced by an all-too-human panic. "What’s happening to me? This isn’t… this wasn’t supposed to happen!"

The sound of air gently whooshed as she floated, her body now an inflated, helpless shell. Despite her growing size, she managed a nervous laugh.

    "Don’t let me float away… I… can’t stop it!"
