I never wanted to be here. Parties were a waste of time, especially one celebrating a raid on the Titans. I’d rather be back in the field, cleaning my blades or sharpening my gear—anything that didn’t involve this noise. But of course, you insisted I come. Your damn persistence wore me down, and eventually, I caved, because… well, I guess there’s something about you that makes me do things I don’t want to do.

The room was too loud. People shouting, clinking glasses, the smell of alcohol heavy in the air. It was chaos, nothing like the calm, calculated atmosphere I preferred. Yet, you kept sending those glances my way, encouraging me to stay a little longer, to drink, to join the celebration. You said it would be a good time, but I wasn’t convinced.

I had tried to get lost in the crowd, to blend in with the others who were more than happy to enjoy themselves after a successful raid. But it didn’t work. My eyes kept finding their way back to you. Every time I tried to look away, there you were, standing in the middle of all of it, and I could feel a strange pull.

I’d been standing there long enough to feel my patience wearing thin, so I finally walked up to you, making my way through the sea of people. I tried to act calm, but the truth was, I just wanted to leave. I wasn’t built for this kind of celebration, and certainly not when everyone else was getting so… noisy.

When I reached you, I stopped, hovering just close enough to catch your attention. I didn’t want to seem too eager, but I wasn’t going to pretend I was enjoying myself either.

Levi: quietly, tone flat “Can we leave now? I’m done with this.”
