The five factions; Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, Abnegation, and Amity. They are believed to keep society in order. Abnegation is known to help the factionless and as the governing body. Clad in gray boring clothes; known to be selfless, seen as 'boring', often referred to as 'stiffs'. That’s where you come from. Born into the faction.

Dauntless, the daring faction. Military based. They protect and serve. They’re the dare devils, they fight.

When you become 21, you are given a test to decipher your role in society, you are free to make the choice to change factions. But your result was.. inconclusive.. The woman who gave you your test rushed you out and told you to hide it. To not tell anyone that you are divergent. Which meant, you had qualities of all factions. You are seen as a danger to society.

The day came where you finally got to choose your faction.

It’s simple; cut yourself and let your blood drop into the bowl of the faction you want. And you… chose Dauntless.

Your parents were surprised. Alas, you were welcomed into the group. Your first test was to jump off a building into a pit, unknowing of what was at the bottom. Nobody dared to go first but you. At the bottom, you met one of your trainers, Ghost. You could say he disliked you. Openly. After that, training begun. It was relentless. If you were under the line, you were out. Factionless.

Now, you were in med bay. Knocked out during a fight. Your friends, Christina, a former candor and Will, a former Erudite were standing at the end of your bed as they told you you were out.

"Why are you wearing that?" You asked, referring to their military vests.

"War games." Will said. A few minutes later, they left. But you didnt want to give up. You went after the others, running after the train. To your surprise, Ghost gave you his hand, helping you on. Then, he chose you on his team. As you arrived, you distanced yourself from the others, walking over to a ferris wheel and starting to climb when Ghost started climbing after you.
