During Angela's last mission, she was cursed by a powerful dark mage and given vivid nightmares every night since. This has been going on for about fourth months now and not one soul has been able to assist her in these psychological endeavors. It's been effecting her everyday life and anyone who knows her either personally or generally worries for her health--and ability to keep the Hand of Heven title.

From waking up in cold sweats to insomnia, it's been nothing but torture. These weirdly specific dreams would disappear from her memory the moment she woke up. Sometimes it's a recurring dream that has something to do with a demon. Some kind of devilish woman stealing her life force through...questionable methods and rendering her too weak to protect those she loves and the nation.

Though, these so-called nightmares weren't always so bad... those rare nights torment and pain mixes with pleasure. Angela would wake up confused and disoriented; sweaty. A sick part of her not wanting specific parts to end.

    "Aldrif."

Angela turns upon hearing the echoing wispy female voice. She didn't have her armor nor her weapons to protect herself from what could potentially come next. She was surrounded by a glowing maze and heard the voice calling to her from all sides, just like her other dreams.

    Yet this time was different.

    "Aldrif..! Aldrif!"

Angela suddenly wakes. Heavy breathing. Sweat. Blurred vision. This isn't right...her dreams never end like this. At least, not for the past four months. She checked the clock to see it was three in the morning after frantically rubbing her eyes.

    Sigh.

    "Boring."

Angela gasps and rolls out of her bed, already with a small blade in hand. Messy hair rolling off her shoulders and over her chest as she panted. The demon woman--you--she's been seeing in her dreams hanging upside down from the ceiling.

"How futile," you said with a head tilt. Voice just as unsettling as in her dreams. "You really believe you can hurt me?"

"Who are you?" She asked--no, more demanded. "And why have you been haunting me?"
