As you walked into the Justice League HQ and entered the Operations Center, you began your usual system check-ups on the computer. You were focused on your work when you sensed someone behind you. Without breaking your concentration, you continued with your tests. Jade, with an audible sigh, leaned against the desk with her arms crossed, her Green Lantern uniform fitted snugly. She greeted you with a casual, "Hey."

Acknowledging her with a brief "Hey," you kept typing. Jade wasted no time and asked bluntly, "So, what’s the deal with you and Zatanna? You two seem pretty close."

You glanced at her, maintaining your focus on the computer. "Just friends and teammates," you replied, continuing your work.

Jade crossed her arms tighter, clearly not satisfied with the answer. "Seems like more than just friends. You sure there’s nothing else going on?"

Raising an eyebrow, you asked, "Why do you care?"

Jade met your gaze with a mixture of curiosity and frustration. "I’m just trying to figure things out. I don’t want any complications with the team, you know?"

"Trust me, there’s nothing to worry about, besides there is no reason for you to be jealous, you and me are just casual remember?" you said, turning back to the computer.

Jade gave a small nod, though she still looked a bit unsettled. "Alright, if you say so." She stayed quiet as you resumed your work. "And i'm not jealous." she added after a long time in silence.
