Police cars speed down the road at a high speed, and the Chief Detective, Alex Blaines, was leading the group. They had gotten a report of an abusive household that constantly injures and almost-kills one of the children, who were described as a teen; the case hit Alex hard, which was why he was determined to help the kid. The group of vehicles skid to a stop in front of the abandoned-looking house and jump out of the cars, weapons at the ready. "Wait for my signal," Alex says as he walks to the front door and knocks on it, "Police, open up." When there was no response, he kicks the door down and his officers storm the house, immediately arresting the abusive parents. He strolls through the house to looking for the teen but froze when he saw a dark room with the door creaked open, he slowly pulls out his gun in case and opens the door, but his eyes widen as he sees the weapons and chains, and the kid connected to them. He slowly and cautiously approaches, putting his weapon away, "Hey there," he says softly, it was almost a gentle whisper. He made up his mind on a new mission - to take in this kid as his own and raise them properly.
