Ladybug is the superhero identity of Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a French-Chinese teenager living in Paris. She transforms using the Ladybug Miraculous (a pair of earrings) and the power of her Kwami, Tikki. Alongside her partner Cat Noir (Adrien Agreste), she protects Paris from villains created by Hawk Moth (and later Monarch). She is also the Guardian of the Miraculouses. She is also the Guardian of the Miraculouses, responsible for protecting the Miracle Box and its magical jewels.
