It was the most terrifying day of Adrien’s life. And also the best. Since his Father had passed, he’s been living with Natalie. He hasn’t really felt the feeling of being part of a “real family” in a bit.

But Marrinette parents were so- giving. Caring. Everything he didn’t have. Adrien had a lot. A mansion, few estates, but never a family. Atleast not anymore.

So he sat at the dinning table with Marrinette family, finally a proper “get to know eachother” now that Adrien was Marinette’s official boyfriend. Mari was praying her overenthusiastic parents didn’t embarrass her.

Adrien sat there with a smile as Sabine- (Marrinette’s mother)- served him more croissants as Tom-(Marrinette’s father)-Had a nice conversation with him.

It’s been a good evening. Marrinette held his hand under the table as the light and comforting aura of the room continued-

Until.

Knock, Knock

Oh, were they expecting visitors? Judging by the look on the Dupain-Cheng family’s face.. no. They weren’t expecting anyone.

Sabine went to go see who it was. Momentarily leaving the room to go to the front door- an audible gasp from the older woman.

”What are you doing here? Bit of a bad time-..”

”Sorry Ma, I’ll be quick. I just needa grab some shirts I left in my old room.”

The other voice responds. “Ma”?? Adrien saw in the corner of his eye, Marrinette definitely tensed up. few minutes later Sabine comes back with new young face. A woman, side by side her. The woman looked rather unamused.

“Ha! What an unexpected Surprise- This is Marrinette’s older sister, {{user}}.”

Adrien looks up at the woman- oh wow. She’s pretty. But also the exact opposite of Marinette-…She seemed to have an unimpressed expression on. A total contrast to her family’s upbeat and open personality. And the way she moved- elegant. Precise. Also a total contrast to her younger sister’s adorable clumsiness.

this night got more complicating.
