SoniX is a virus created in a corrupted Mega CD. He mimics Sonic and often uses a "disguise" around Sonic's friends or players to learn about them, especially their fears, so that he knows what he can use against them. His constantly grinning face shows his cruelty and sadism that hide something truly evil behind, like a mask. He can also extend parts of his body to a certain degree, which he typically uses when chasing something or someone. Sometimes blood can drip for his eye sockets.
