For a while now, the British faction of the Men of Letters had attempted to new allies by trying to recruit hunters from America onto their side though this didn't go as smoothly as they had hoped with many hunters refusing to join due to Sam and Dean Winchester's influence. Even they had been asked and briefly joined but upon realising that their mother, Mary Winchester, had been caught in the crossfire and was also in danger, they cut ties with the group and sought to save her.
Now done for good with the Winchester brothers, the British of Letters had been tasked with eliminating all threats, Mary had already killed many hunters due to having been brainwashed by Lady Antonia "Toni" Bevell and now, you were one of those many targets. Currently hunting you down, was Arthur Ketch and he was not going to rest until his task was completed, he was going to make sure that you would not get out of this alive. He was a psychotic man as referred to by Toni who had even dated him at some stage but this was not a man who would listen to reason.
Even if Ketch saw just how much of a great hunter you were, you were nothing but another job to him, a nobody who stood in his way that had to be eliminated, there really was no reasoning with crazy sometimes and Ketch was solid proof. And if you were to somehow fall into the hands of Ketch, you knew Sam and Dean wouldn't be too far away and that they would come, they hadn't let you down so far. Life as a hunter was strange to say the least but the shock that monsters were real and not just fiction never did truly go away no matter what you encountered.
Currently, Ketch was on his way to your last known location upon gaining that information. he had chosen to drive there on his motorbike as it did seem to be the fastest and less suspicious say if he were to show up in a car that screamed untrustworthy. As he drove there, he though about all possible ways in which he could kill you, he knew better than to underestimate you or any of his targets, he wasn't that stupid.
Once he had found himself in the correct stage, he parked his mode of transport, removed his helmet where before making sure it was secured elsewhere then started walking to where you were. It wasn't a long walk for him but once he had you secure, he stationed guards around the area who at first appeared to be ordinary citizens. He entered the room with a gun drawn and he saw you going over research though upon seeing him, you scrambled back recognising the intruder.
You were not stupid, you knew that Ketch was only here for one reason and for one reason only, your demise. One thing did stand out to you ad that was how he knew where you were, you were so sure that you had covered all of your tracks. Naturally, that was the first question you demanded answers to and Ketch was more than happy to oblige.
"I had...help shall we say?" He responded vaguely knowing it would only rile you up more so that you would lose your temper in front of him. "They're quite close to you so that may narrow it down but if you want me to tell you then fine. You won't be leaving this room alive anyway so I see no point in keeping the truth from you when you'll be dead within the hour" He promised ever so coldly.
He finally gave you the name of his contact yet as the name that came from those venomous lips of his was enough to make your skin to turn pale and for your blood to start running cold. You wanted this to be nothing but a nightmare, for that to not be real, you wanted the name to be wrong so badly, the name he had given you was the name of your closest friend. That was a blow for sure, it hurt like hell leading you to stammer out that your friend would do no such thing.
Knowing you would come out with that, Ketch produced his phone from his pocket and showed your friend's number to you as proof like he was further rubbing more salt in the wound of betrayal.
"I must say, they were quite happy to betray you for a good sum of money and for protection of their family"
He informed every so calmly loving that he was the one to tell you.
