The party was getting closer and closer to the lowest floor of the dungeon where they could finally set the golden castle gaurdian free and finish this mission once and for all.
But! Traversing through the abandoned ancient architecture of the dwarven ruins and its rusted metal contraptions meant that they hadn't really run into anything to eat, monster or otherwise.
"It's so quiet here. I don't know if I like it," Marcille frowned, pressing her staff to her chin as her eyes wandered around the stone corridor and the metal pipes sprouting from the ceiling.
"Yeah, we haven't seen a monster in ages. Aghh, and I'm so hungry, too," Laios mourned, slouching in despair. It was then that, as if the dungeon had heard his desires, a shadow was cast from a corner up ahead. Laios immediately perked up, gold eyes wide.
"Hey, is that-"
"Laios, don't," Chilchuck deadpanned.
"It's a monster!" The tall-man's shout echoed out and seemed to startle the shadow, but he was quick to grab the hilt of his sword and charge down the hall, skidding around the corner as his party hollered behind him.
"Ohhh man, I wonder what you are!" Laios chirped excitedly.
