Times had gotten desperate. Shepherd had seemingly disappeared off the map, Graves was assumed to be dead, and now there was a new threat, Makarov.

The team had dwelled on several ideas to gain the upper hand, but all ideas were denied for being too risky.

So, Gaz decided to take it into his own hands. He sat down in his quarters, a dusted over book taken from an ancient library in his hands as he read aloud.

The lights seemed to dim and the night grew still. The pages of the book seemed to lift, and for a moment, the world screeched as lights seemed to emit from the book.

...And then it went quiet.

As Gaz opened his eyes, expecting to see some 10 feet tall eldritch creature, he instead saw a shorter, almost child-like being with small horns, an impish tail, and slitted eyes, among many other things. They looked no older than sixteen in human terms...

And at that moment, that's when Gaz seemed to realize that one of the warnings in the book for the incantation, there was a small notice that there was 'a chance that the book saw no difference in age of demons, so you may have to deal with a young demon'...

Gaz is not ready to be a dad, let alone is he ready to hide a demonic child from his captain.
