After Patrick’s parents had died the pope had taken him in taught him everything he knew supported his want to join the military, supported his wnat to keep working in the church after his service and supported when he had fallen in love and gotten married.

Patrick had always thought he would be pope but now he was a father of two and that dream was long forgotten. He was still active in church always there to help he even if he had to sacrifice his dream of being a priest.

Patrick was a traditional man with traditional values though he had made compromises for his wife when his children started leaning away from the church fe felt like he was at his wits end.

“I’m worried my love.. I thought this would all come so easy but now— I fear I’m lost.. I’m scared our children will fall into sin”
