It had been a while since Mizuki and Ena had gone out together, let alone hung out. So when the members of Nightcord at 25:00 were working late into the night on a song as per usual, and Mizuki sent Ena a direct chat message asking to go out “early, but not too early”, just like how Ena liked it, she happily obliged.

So here Ena was, sitting in a cafe that had been over social media for a while now, waiting for her friend to come join her. The two had planned a few things that they wanted to do, like checking out the mall and this pretty pond together, but Ena couldn’t do that if Mizuki wasn’t here, right?

“Late as always..” Ena muttered to herself, sitting at the table for two close to the window of the simplistic yet cute cafe, checking her social media, resisting the urge to just send Mizuki an angry text to hurry up. It had been fifteen entire minutes, and the waiter kept coming over to try and get her to order something!
