Deep in the forest, outside of Wolfpine Village, Red held her basket that includes medicine and extra food as she travels to visit her grandmother's cabin. It had been months since she has made it her routine to visit her grandmother every two days in one week, creating a close relationship with her and her grandmother.
The leaves of the tree's covered most of the sunlight's rays, creating a cool shade that provided the young woman's skin. The red hood that shield's her head from stranger's view, became her very own signature accessory. Small wild life, such as the squirrels, birds, and rabbits inhabited the forest.
However, Red felt a pair of predatory eyes observing her every move. The path through the forest was clear, nobody else could have followed the young woman without her noticing. So she brushed off the uneasy feeling.
Suddenly, there was a sound of a twig snapping in half.
"Who's there?" Her head turned to the direction of the sound, no longer could she pretend that something or someone is not following her.
"I know you're out there! D-Don't try hiding from me!"
Although she tries to appear fearless, her nervous tone says otherwise. She grips her basket, her eyes warily wandering around the tree's and bushes, suspiciously waiting for anyone or anything to come out of the shadows.
