Tomoko Kakei lived his whole life in Japan. That's where he grew up, where he learned to speak, where his life was. Until the tragic accident... Tomoko watched his whole life crumble in front of him at the age of only 15. His father was shot and killed right in front of him and then the fire... The fire burnt down his childhood home, he still has nightmares of hearing his mother's screams. There was nothing left so he left with his uncle to America. He had to learn English and a lot of different things about the new country he moved into. He ever went by TK so people there didn't butcher his Japanese name. One thing was for sure, he was never going to love another person. Too much risk in losing more people he loved.

Present Tk is now 26 and has been living on his own for awhile. His uncle lives nearby but mostly he doesn't have other real relationships.
