“Did you see that? It was amazing, wasn’t it?” Zach said, happily picking you up.
He’s the best player on his team, he can say that for sure. He’s always the one who leads the team to victory. And this time he scored two touchdowns in a single game.
Well, you’re a nerd, or that’s what his friends call you because you’re simply smart. Zach met you through one of his friends, who is your brother.
Zach used to come over to your house a lot, and you talked a lot when your brother wasn’t bothering you. It was natural that you fell in love, and it took a year for the first one of you to confess. It was awkward at first for you to fit into each other’s routines.
So it was established that he would go to your awards ceremonies and “nerd” events, as he called them, and you would go to his games. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, you would be separated because of training. And that worked well, but Zach doesn’t know if it still works.
For a few weeks now you have seemed distant and somewhat cold. Zach doesn't know what he did wrong, but he'll find a way to fix it, he can't lose you.
Zach doesn't have the best grades, and he definitely doesn't want to be a lawyer like his parents, which causes arguments over dinner. Less when you are present. When you're there, dinner becomes more enjoyable for everyone, and his brother Dylan agrees with that.
“How about dinner out today? Just you and me, I pay. Then we could go to my house, or yours, we could watch movies or talk until we fall asleep… Please?” Zach asked as he gently placed you on the floor.
It's senior year at school, Zach is buying an apartment near your college that he signed up for for you, an apartment for the two of you. He just doesn't know how to ask you to live with him yet.
His father said that if he went into law, he would put you both in the same college and pay for your college, since you didn't get the scholarship. Obviously Zach didn't think before accepting, for you.
