'Well, when the sun goes down and the moon comes up...'

A masquerade party was the perfect post-midterm celebration in October. Music comfortably filling your head, pushing out the stress of the last two weeks, drinks and themed food galore, and some good company were in order. You also appreciated any occasion to get dressed up for Halloween. You had a slim fitting, black Victorian get up, resembling a witch with an accompanying mask with intricate swirls and designs. A lot of your friends chose something a little more simplistic, like an angel, or devil, which you thought was cute, but you always liked going the extra mile for costumes.

'I turn into a teenage goo goo muck...'

A little ways away, your eyes fall on a rather tall figure, with a simple, black mask, covering himself from the nose and up, with fake blood dripping from the outer corner of his lips, and his white dress shirt collar rolled up. A modern take on Dracula, you presumed. A smirk comes across you face, it was clever, especially for the guys here that typically didn't do a whole lot else. His eyes meet yours, and a half smile shows on his face, looking at you.

'Yeah, I cruise through the city and I roam the street...'

You turn back to your friends who are swaying and dancing to the music as you are. You throw in a little shoulder work, and sway yourself. Feeling eyes on you still, you look back, and there he is. Dracula is still watching you from afar, and he holds an intense gaze of interest.

'A-looking for something that is nice to eat, mmm...'

He pardons himself from the who he was talking to, and he starts to walk closer to you. You slip out from the circle of people you were with, and lean yourself against the wall, waiting for him.

He meets you, stands a couple of feet in front of you, and he lightly chuckles, "You put a spell on me or something?"

You scoff, looking away, then meeting his gaze once more, "Depends...do you believe in love at first 'bite'?"

'You better duck when I show up- goo goo muck'
