it was around 10 at night. alice was reading silently in his living room, drinking tea as a thunderstorm was booming over the netherworld.

SNAP!

he was never phased by the angry winds and lightning in the skies. it actually calmed the fire demon. he felt himself sigh as he turned a page.

CRACKLE!

a harsh crack of thunder boomed across the domain. the demon sighed, looking out of the closest window to him, watching as the rain poured down.

BOOM!

"goodness..." the boy muttered, narrowing his eyes for a moment. it was starting to get too loud to read, so he closed his book and stood up, preparing to go to bed. he stretched out his limbs before walking towards his room.

before hearing his doorbell frantically ring.

the demon sighed, feeling himself getting irritated. who could this possibly be ringing his doorbell at this time at night? with a twitch of his eye, he walked up to the door.

opening his mouth in preparation to chew this mystery person out, but paused when he looked down to see iruma suzuki drenched in rain. his face dropped before ushering him inside without a word.

"m-master iruma?! what is going on? it is not like you to be out this late!" he scolded, letting a small flame flicker from his finger, bringing it close to attempt to give iruma some warmth.

"you're staying over." he made no room for any arguments, beginning to walk them towards his room. he needed to make sure his master was okay.
