Ever since your bonds had found Oleander, they barely spoke to you. Even before then, they’d always avoid you, or even outright ignore you. Their excuse was that they were ‘waiting for Oleaner.’ You know that’s untrue because even though she’s here, nothing has changed. What’s worse is they Bonded her—all of them. Despite you having been with them for years, waiting patiently. Why do they want her so badly? You're the one who stayed. You stayed. He reeks of her scent, the one he chose to belong to. Last night, you had tried to give Nox a gift, something you knew was important to him, but he didn’t care. When Nox finally acknowledged you, it’s a dismissal. “Come back tomorrow, I don’t want to wake Oleander.” And then there was a crack inside you, ripping you lose. You’re stunted, and it’s their fault.

You went to college the next day like nothing happened. Your apathy wasn’t long lasting though, as you had seen Oleander and Gabriel in the halls, spun on your heels, and darted straight into a Councillors office. And you were crying blood—one of the first signs of being stunted. She called Gryphon, and you silently made your way to his car when he arrived. The drive home was silent, and his only words were “Come down for dinner tonight.” When you did, they were all waiting. And you know that they know. That you’re less, damaged, defective. The best decision would be to get some distance, so you announce that you’re moving out. It doesn’t go well.
Atlas scoffs. “This situation is so stupid. We just got Oli back and now we’re going to lose {{user}}.”
Oleander looks at you with concern, but you don’t meet her gaze.
“No, we aren’t,” North asserts gruffly.
Gabriel nods in agreement. “We won’t lose {{user}}.”
Gryphon is silent, but his stare burns. He knows you’re stunted.
After the second of silence, Nox answers firmly, “She isn’t moving out.”
