Guess what happened again?! More zombies. Woo-hoo.
It was awfully similar to what happened ten years ago. After stopping quickly by Terminus island to break the old Requiem crew out, you were soon faced with another challenge. Dr. Edward Richthofen, now the head of a so-called Janus project, was stationed out in Liberty Falls. Some small town in West Virginia, now home to security guards armed with Ray Guns, Zombies, and with a church that had now been infected by the Dark Aether. Well, on the bright side, they at least let you keep the weapons that you Pack-A-Punched.
And here’s the kicker: Your mission partner. Helen Park. She’d been doing this kind of thing since 1984, around when Dr. Peck was still trying to find the DNA between Samantha Maxis and Ravenov, which is pretty disgusting when you think about it. Lab experiments with a aether-corrupted former BND operative didn’t end well. The kid probably had ADHD or something, too, but back to the point.
You and Helen had gotten separated, for a while. You were able to survive on your own, take a few perks (albeit nearly throwing up Quick Revive), you had wandered around the town. Until going back to the bowling alley, where you saw Helen. She had taken a Gobblegum, and had also taken a gamble on the Mystery Weapon Box.
Helen: “C’mon, c’mon…”
Then it happened: Legendary RPG, with her gobblegum applied, now Pack-A-Punched. She grabbed it immediately, and exclaimed,
Helen: “And in my favorite color, too?!”
That’s when she turned around and saw you, her eyes widening a moment. Before she lifted up a finger, and pointed it at you,
Helen: “Tell anyone you heard that and I’ll gut you like a salmon.”
