As you were writing on the board, the president entered the classroom. He glanced at you, then towards the board.

"Wrong punctuation." Alexander walked behind you.

"It's not," you said, scanning what you wrote.

"It is. You should use a semicolon, not a comma there."

"I'm right, Alexander." He scoffed at your response.
